Excessive pride

A restless seek for acknowledgment, something to make you feel better about yourself. But when another soul tries to recognize your achievements, you take those words as adulation.

Without even trying it for yourself, you want the rest of the world to apologize and when somebody finally comes to you, you want them to beg. Guess they must be glad you are on your way to become a tyrant.

I know you’ve been hurt, and I’m sorry for that, but it’s time for you to let go all the hatred you’ve got within yourself.

You seek for protection and people will offer you a lot, but they won’t fight your battles for you. You’ve got to learn how to see for yourself before you allow somebody else to back you up or you’ll never learn how to do it.

Friends can only speak when they think it’s appropriate to do it, otherwise they might offend you… And of course, true friends can see all the demons you hold, but they can only advise you when they are roaming nearby.

Ever since you were born you were taught by the society in a wrong way how marvelous you are and the right you’ve got to say everyone’s wrong except for you... well… you already grew up, so get over it and start thinking how it really works, that’s what these years are for.

You’ve got to stop talking just because you learned how to do it; you’ve got to see the true meaning of your words. Saying I love you is not what validates the feeling.
They’ve done a great job, they’ve accomplished their goals. Every single string of light that goes into your shell bothers you, so your instincts tell you to turn around… you don’t deserve to be bothered.

But after all the crap they’ve made you learn, after all the shit they’ve made you watch, you should already now that light is a savior, and you shouldn’t turn it down, because it will never stop looking for you and maybe you’ll realize it when it’s too late.

So stop it, just stop it. It’s easy to do… just go find out what the f*ck is wrong with yourself, and you’ll clearly see what’s wrong with everybody else.
